Ok, this page is a little different. These are just two questions that we’ve (and I mean Megan and Anh together – anyone reading this should consider that this is coming from both of us “simul-speak”. We talk you know.) thought about a lot. They are “Heavy-Deep & Real” (HDR), but not in the typical sense. Anyway, use fewer words Megan! On w/the Show.

WBFAQ: “Are you two going to write a book?”

I don’t know – you want to publish it and pay us? No, really, this is an actually FAQ, but there’s a very small number of people in this world who ask this, and for whom the answer isn’t just interesting, its a business venture. This WBFAQ is for you (HINT).

We are blown away that anyone cares to read all the crap-o-la that Megan rambles about. We think about 2k a day (well, we kind of know ). Guess what, lots of them send us mail and write comments. One of the most fascinating things is we think (based on data), that most of these folks are not in the LGBT community (and we are “in”, proud members!), but rather the people who are often the most passionate in their “love notes” (I call them these – when I open up mail and I see one, I get a little smile and say “Hey Anh-O, want to read a love note?” I say this with all the respect in my heart. These got me through some dark days (and Anh too), and gave us the strength to move forward – quickly. Keep ‘em coming! (I’m not pandering – really)) – well, the people who are the most passionate are generally not “in” the community (or “out” -whatever, you know what I mean). This is very interesting related to the point of the number of people who might put down some of their actual money to buy a piece of dead trees w/smudgy marks on it that you look at and make you laugh, cry, and go “hmmm…” (credit to Mr. Bill Hill on trees/smudgy line – thats his – its all Megan after the word “marks”).

To Summarize Point #1 – Lots of people are interested, and passionate in their read, and this is a wide group. Interesting. And Shocking. Who Knew?

Second thing. Megan may (and I stress “May”) be funny sometimes when not drugged, but she’s no pro writer. You see all those parentheticals – (puh-lease!). We need a real writer in the group too. It’s not Megan. Megan knows this. Plus, Megan’s got a day job that pays the bills, and she ain’t leaving the ‘soft anytime soon. Only so many hours in the day.

So, here’s the idea. At some point, this blog is “done”. I say, tentatively, July 1, 2008. At that point, take all this blog crap-o-la, give it to a “writer” and a “designer” have us all talk – they do some filling (Ok, we realize that Megan and Anh will have to do a lot of work too – but its a team baby!) and book-a-fying. Publish same. Wait. [May some good stuff happen - both from a business and society POV - its win win win win. Look at how much I love Jennifer Finney-Boylan and how much she helped us and our circle (see "Resources" page). And I bought 20 copies to give away. And Microsoft prob bought 500, etc. Intresting, huh?]

WBFAQ: You Guys/Gals are funny as all hell/make me mad/cry/are great [some nice/thoughtful comment here]. You ever think of taking this on the road to do comedy, training, etc?

Oh yeah, we are down at the Sunset room every other Tuesday (when we don’t have the big kids), and Samwich plays the snare. He’s got killer timing. Come see us – two for one drinks for the pretty ladies for the first show.

Seriously, Megan has some good experiences talking in front of big groups (and small groups). Anh is the brians. We are kind of like Penn and Teller but cuter. (I didn’t say smarter – those guys ROCK). Samwich is non-verbal still, but when he talks, he might be better than both of us combined. I’m convinced he’s smarter already. That little dude can work the room baby! (for a baby).

We also love to travel. Love it.

We aren’t cheap. Ok, I may be cheap, and I pander a lot, but again, seriously, have you seen Anh’s ring? No but seriously, we love it, and we think that maybe, just maybe, not only can we help, we can make you laugh, cry, and maybe think a bit, and a little less Judgy? (cuz aren’t we all). Again, win win win win.
